COVID-19 adaptations to my practice including online/virtual assessments

It is everyone’s responsibility to limit the spread of COVID-19. With that in mind, I have been changing as many of my consults as possible to online or virtual consultations. There are still some people that want to come in to be weighed and seen in person. I am still available for one-on-one consultations in my practice until the government places greater travel limits on South Africans.

If you do want to come in, please note the following. Please book a virtual consult if you have travelled to a high-risk area recently. Please also book a online consult if you have been exposed to any COVID-19 carriers.

Please arrive on time for your appointments to limit time in the waiting room. If you do arrive early, you are welcome to wait in the sunshine or in your car until the time of your appointment.

Hand sanitizer is available as you enter my practice room. My surfaces are sprayed every three hours and the scale is disinfected before each use. The keypad of my credit card machine is disinfected after each use and zapper is available should you prefer it.

Please do not hesitate to switch to a virtual consult if you wake up feeling unwell. You do not need any special software, I will send you a link that opens our consultation in your browser.

Please click the blue “Book an appointment” button at the top of my webpage to find a spot in my diary that is convenient for you. Please choose a virtual assessment for online appointments. In-person appointments are those that do not say “virtual assessment”.

Stay safe, stay hydrated and wash your hands.
