My beautiful baby girl was born on 17 November 2017. I have had a wonderful time getting to know her and being a full time mom. The time has come to start easing myself back into my working life and so I will return to practice from this Monday, 12 February 2018. I am starting only two mornings a week: Mondays and Wednesday but am sure to start opening up my diary again as I find my groove as a mother and dietitian. Looking forward to seeing you!
It is with great pleasure that I introduce associate dietitian, Cara Ronquest. Cara moved up from Cape Town to join the practice and establish herself in Johannesburg.
I’d like to thank the many clients that have allowed Cara to sit in on their appointments and observe how I practice. She and I have spent much time together improving the practice flow and educating each other on our key areas of interest. Cara brings to the practice a special interest in Diabetes but, like many dietitians, she has varied interests and experience.
As you can see in the picture, I am pregnant! Cara will be taking care of my clients while I am on maternity leave from 10 November 2017 until mid February 2018.
The 2017 Vitality points system no longer includes a Vitality Nutrition Assessment. Instead any appointment at a dietitian can count for points. To claim your vitality points, your invoice from me can be submitted to Discovery. If not on the Discovery medical aid, the invoice can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Existing clients are invited to book a normal follow-up appointment to get points. New clients are encouraged to come for a full nutrition assessment to achieve best results. If however you do not want a meal plan or have do not have health concerns but just want to ask some questions, you can book a mini-nutrition assessment.
You can go straight to my diary by clicking the blue “Book an appointment” button at the top of this page.
I look forward to helping you get to gold this year!
Thank you to everyone that has supported my practice this year. It has been wonderful seeing the incredible transformations and I am excited to see them continue in the New Year.
The practice is closed from 23 December until 10 January 2017.
If you urgently need to see a dietitian for a Vitality Nutrition Assessment, please click the “book an appointment” button at the top of my website. If you cannot find a time that works for you, I know that Toni Brien, a dietitian based near Norwood will be open from the 28th of December 2016 to help with those last few assessments. Please contact her on 082 889 8979.
I hope you have a wonderful break and look forward to a great year with you in 2017!
Do you have a nutrition question that you want answered but do not know if you need to see a dietitian to get it answered?
Every day I am bombarded with nutrition-related questions. Some of them are quick and easy to answer, some of them require a bit more time. This part of my website is dedicated to answering your questions. Please email me your question. I will answer you and if it’s a question I think other people will appreciate knowing the answer to, I will post both your question and my answer (with your details protected of course).
I look forward to your emails!
